Inspired by Ankara’s rich historical and cultural heritage, we launched the Odak Movement in 2018 with a broad vision centred on social progress and the spread of positive impact. Officially registered under association number 06-133-104, the initiative aims to reach every segment of society and place social good at the heart of realistic, practical solutions. For us, “focusing” is the cornerstone of our commitment to creating lasting and positive change in society.

Every step we take as the Odak Movement is guided by our vision of a fair, equal, and liveable world. Our efforts to strengthen civil society and deepen social solidarity are among the key forces driving us towards this goal. Along this journey, we seek to enrich the lives of people from all parts of society, help unlock their potential, and create opportunities to grow together. Guided by the power of focus, we continue to take determined steps towards building a better future for society.

As the Odak Movement, we are committed to improving people’s quality of life by providing shelter, food, hygiene, clean water, education, and social support. We believe that every person, as a citizen of the world, deserves the opportunity to live with hope and dignity. Through strong and connected community networks, we work to create meaningful and lasting change in people’s lives.

Our events, where knowledge and experience are shared, are a cornerstone of our work to strengthen the capacity of civil society and deepen social solidarity. We foster meaningful dialogue on social and scientific issues through conferences, symposiums, seminars, and panel discussions that encourage reflection and open new horizons through knowledge. By bringing together experts, academics, thinkers, and community leaders from diverse disciplines, we create space for multiple perspectives and innovative ideas to emerge. Our aim is to embrace the full potential of civil society, develop creative responses to social challenges, and encourage participation from every segment of society.

Our events inform and engage diverse segments of society, while fostering a stronger sense of social responsibility and reinforcing the role of civil society. As the Odak Movement, we consider it a privilege to contribute to social development at both local and national levels and to support a more effective, dynamic, and participatory civil society.
